Google Code Search Faces Criticism from the Start

Google has launched Google Code Search, a new service designed to help programmers locate computer code on the web.

Last night there were already some reports that Google Code Search has exposed serial number algorithms for WinZip, MIRC and Photoshop. Oops.

Others have pointed out that Google’s code search engine will make hacking a lot easier.
