Partnerships, Acquisitions and Matt Cutts’ Evil Twin

As Lee from TopRank Online Marketing Blog reports, Vocus Communications has entered into a new strategic partnership with Business Wire which includes licensing of a private label version of PRWeb for use by Business Wire clients.

Now Business Wire clients will be able to take advantage of the press release distribution services currently offered by PRWeb.


In other developments, privately held Apax Partners has made an offer to acquire Incisive Media for 199 million pounds. Search Engine Watch is a part of the Incisive Media network of websites. The full story can be found here.

Jumpcut is being acquired by Yahoo!, and its technology will be integrated into Yahoo! Video Search.


For those of you who didn’t know, Matt Cutts has an evil twin brother. He even blogs about SEM :-)
